New Delhi, May 22: Congress on Wednesday took a jibe at the Narendra Modi-led government at the Centre and said that Vikas (development) is back after the state elections.
Taking to Twitter Congress General Secretary Randeep Singh Surjewala said: “Vikas had to be suspended briefly due to state elections. ‘Parivar’ of ‘Reformists’ & ‘Positivists’ will be pleased to note that Vikas is now firmly back on track. As petrol has now crossed ₹100 in Bhopal.”
Petrol and diesel prices have been hiked for the third straight day today across the country. Petrol has gone up by 22-25 paise, while diesel price has increased by 25-27 paise.
Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd, Indian Oil Corporation Ltd and Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd revise the fuel prices on a daily basis in line with benchmark international price and foreign exchange rates.
